Terms of service
1. Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Nutriful ("we", "us") covering your use of the Nutriful iOS app and nutriful.app (together, the "Service"). By creating a plan in the app, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The service
Nutriful builds personalized meal plans, recipes, nutrition targets and a Nutriful Score from the information you provide (and, if you opt in, from Apple Health), and helps you plan, shop for and cook meals. Some features — longer meal plans, more AI-generated meals, extra recipe collections — are gated behind the optional Nutriful+ subscription; what's free and what needs Nutriful+ is shown in the app.
3. Not medical advice
Nutriful provides general nutrition and wellness information for healthy adults. It is not medical advice, and it doesn't diagnose, treat or replace the judgment of a qualified professional. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you're pregnant, nursing, under 18, or managing a medical condition, an eating disorder, or an allergy — the app's allergen and nutrition information is a planning aid, not a guarantee, and you're responsible for checking ingredients yourself, especially for severe allergies.
4. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Nutriful. Your profile is tied to your device and iCloud account rather than a username/password login; keep your device and Apple ID secure, since anyone with access to them can access your Nutriful data.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Nutriful+ is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID, at the price and interval (monthly, annual, or Family, where offered) shown at the time of purchase, including any free trial. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions; refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us. Free-tier usage limits (such as AI generations per week or per month) are described in the app and may change.
6. Acceptable use
Use the Service only for its intended personal, non-commercial purpose. Don't reverse-engineer, scrape or resell it, interfere with its operation, or use it to store or share unlawful content.
7. Content and intellectual property
The app, its design, and the recipes and copy we provide belong to Nutriful or our licensors. Anything you enter yourself (like a recipe note or a collection name) remains yours; you grant us the license we need to store, sync and display it back to you as part of the Service.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on Apple (App Store, HealthKit, iCloud, Reminders), RevenueCat (subscription management) and TelemetryDeck (analytics). Your use of those integrations is also subject to their own terms, where applicable, and Apple Health/Reminders access is entirely optional and controlled by you in iOS Settings.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, where the law allows such a limit. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
10. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app and cancelling any subscription through Apple. We may suspend or terminate access for use that violates these terms or the law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app if a change is material. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
